► KAPS projects - solidarity house & flat shares
Partnership agreement with the AFEV student trust
The principle behind the solidarity house & flat shares is simple: affordable shared student accommodation for 3 to 6 people, linked to a social and solidarity project run with, and for, the residents of a working-class neighbourhood in the Lyon area.
Essentially, you will share a house or flat with other students and will commit to spending 3 to 5 hours a week on a community project within your residence and/or neighbourhood: mentoring a child or young person in need or taking part in solidarity initiatives on a range of topics (the environment, culture, children’s issues, etc.).
Places have been reserved for Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University students.
Subject to conditions and on application.

► The Crous “residence for success” scheme
This programme combines the student buddy system and Crous accommodation. The concept is simple: students in the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or on a Master’s programme mentor 1st year Bachelor’s degree students. The buddies help newcomers settle into student life, from studies to socialising, not forgetting day-to-day life and getting to know the city of Lyon.

- Partnership with Freevelo’V, particularly during start-of-term events. This Lyon Metropole scheme allows students to use a bicycle free of charge for between 3 and 12 months.
