Winter School 2023 : Australian students in Lyon

From November 27 to December 15, 2023, Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University welcomed 17 students from the University of Sydney for the fourth edition of its Winter School, an intensive French language learning program for beginners.

Discovering Lyon and France

Set up by teams from the International Relations Office, this program enables foreign students to take French language and French Culture courses at the University.

It is also an great opportunity for them to immerse themselves in the local culture by discovering the region's gastronomy, customs and heritage.

For three weeks, students took part in the 'Fête des Lumières' (Frestival of lights), visited the Gallo-Roman Museum, the Maison des Canuts and the Château de Montmelas in the Beaujolais region.
