This award recognises our institution’s human resources strategy for researchers and our commitment to continuously improve our research environment.
Objectives shared with the European Commission

 The main objectives of the University’s human resources policy are aligned with those set out by the European Commission:

  • To contribute to the development of the European Higher Education and Research Areas;
  • To enhance the institution’s international profile; and
  • To facilitate the mobility of researchers from all over the world.
Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, which has adhered to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers since 2016, has implemented a participative action plan comprising 36 priority actions for the coming years. The action plan is the result of a collaborative effort involving all of the institution’s researchers. It has three main components:

  • To improve communication, both in terms of existing measures and new actions;
  • To improve the deployment of existing training courses and to develop new training courses to meet researchers’ needs; and
  • To provide better support for researchers, both individually and collectively.
