Welcome to our new international students

Published on February 14, 2022 Updated on February 14, 2022

The University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 welcomes more than 220 new international students for this second semester. They join the 240 students who arrived in September.

Enrolled in an exchange program, in French for the DEUF (Diplôme d'Etudes Universitaires Françaises) or in English for the SELF (Study in English in Lyon, France), they join the University as part of an integrated curriculum (governed by an agreement).

They come from all five continents, mostly from the United Kingdom (70 students), Italy (67 students) and Germany (41 students). When they arrived in early January, they were welcomed by the International Relations team and were given guidance in their new environment through back-to-school meetings and guided tours of the Manufacture des Tabacs campus and the Lyon 3 University Library. This was an opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with the University and the resources and tools at their disposal.

These new students will be able to integrate and follow the courses of their choice, to which will be added FLE (French as a Foreign Language) courses.

We wish them all a warm welcome and a very good semester at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3!
