Students With a Disability

The Student Disability Service helps students with a disability better ease into university life. Suitable building access and a number of materials have been put in place for students, including: a welcome area with a room for both work and rest, assistance with daily living, reception desk, assistants, special arrangements for exams, documents adapted to specific needs, the loan of laptops for exams, disability access to the premises, etc.

Before arriving in France, it is important that any medical documents (health records, recognition of disability) are translated into French. Once in Lyon, a doctor from Health Care Services (Service de Médecine Préventive et de Promotion de la Santé) will advise you on any necessary arrangements.

The Student Disability Service team and the International Relations Office will also be on hand to assist you throughout your stay.
